Great Pyramid of Giza Gallery

Have you watched Transformers 2: Revenge of The Fallen? The final battle there took place in one of the most exotic landmark in the world, The Great Pyramid of Giza in Cairo, Egypt. Giza Pyramid is the only one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World that survives substantially intact. The Great Pyramid was the tallest man-made structure in the world for over 3,800 years. Originally the Great Pyramid was covered by casing stones that formed a smooth outer surface, and what is seen today is the underlying core structure.

When you travel to Giza, you’ll also find The Great Sphinx, the guardian of the temple. This is a statue of a reclining lion with a human head that stands on the Giza Plateau and it’s the largest monolith statue in the world. Use Car Hire Cairo Airport and drive your way to visit one of seven wonders of the world.

Based on Greek tradition, sphinx is a mythical creature with lion’s body and human head. The difference is Egyptian sphinx take the form of male, while Greek’s has the face of a woman. This creature is basically a guardian, which loves to give a hard riddle to traveler who wants to pass, thus came the legend “The Riddle of the Sphinx”.

Sphinx is a must visited place when you travel to Egypt, and don’t worry, I don’t think that he’ll give you any riddle….
